nineteen years

Perth, Western Australia; a resort to grow up in... but leaving it all behind is the hardest part.

Written, directed and starring myself.

The most cathartic fiction/but-using-real-footage-from-my-childhood film to create.

I hope you enjoy.

So I watched this amazing film in like...November.. and am only posting about it now...February. Hopefully that gives you an idea of how behind I am with my posts. Chipping away through each file slowly. Meanwhile, enjoy these beautiful images created by the brilliant cinematographer, Emmanuel Lubezki (Sleepy Hollow, The Tree of Life), from the 1998 rendition of Great Expectations.
Gwyneth, Ethan, De Niro, and all of that stunning original artwork by Francesco Clemente....perfect.
