So unbelievably excited to see these three films that are to be released towards the end of this year or early next year. They are all so different, and highly anticipated to see them in a theatre, on the big screen.
Les Misérables
When you watch this trailer, the sound Anne Hathaway's emotionally raw, fragile voice alone makes me want to cry. It is so moving. The fact that the entire cast sings the whole film live is such a beautiful thing, to really harness a full and deeper performance. I am so excited to see so many incredible, multi-talented actors in this musical-picture.
Not Fade Away
Rising Aussie actor Bella Heathcote stars in her latest American feature film, Not Fade Away. The trailer oozes with 70s' nostalgia with the awesome awesome Stone-esque costumes. The whole era of sex, drugs and rock n' roll can never go wrong when New York City and Bella are involved. Period.
Greetings From Tim Buckley
I am a self diagnosed Jeff Buckley addict, so when I saw that this biopic was being screened at this year's Toronto Film Festival, I couldn't believe my eyes! Penn Badgley was a good casting choice (although I do believe Robert Pattinson was also up for the role -and he can already play guitar and sing) but nevertheless, Badgley seems to do Jeff justice. The shots particularly of Tim Buckley in the 60s, are the epitome of the idilic film still. I am without words.
All stills captured by myself via these trailers.
