a punk-rock met ball

A dream-Punk-themed Met Gala at The Metropolitan Meusum of Art in New York City a few weeks back. So many amazing icons in phenomenal punk looks! From 90s simplicity, to studs, spikes and the whole Sex-Pistols-enchilada. Standouts for me are above, and my favourites would have to be Anne Hathaway in vintage 1990s Valentino, Bella Heathcote in Chanel Haute Couture, Cara Delevingne and Sienna Miller both British-babing in Burberry, Dakota Fanning in Givenchy, Elle Fanning in Rodarte, Lily Collins in Moschino, Diane Kruger in Chanel, Jaime King in Topshop, and Teresa Palmer in Diane von Furstenberg. But I loved all of the above. Ah, Met Ball. You and I shall meet one day... I'll make sure of it.

washed ashore

Free People's June e-catalogue, starring leading model Behati Prinsloo, and photographed by Anna Palma. I am always obsessed with everything produced by the bohemian-inspired "hippie hippie shake" label, and this Nambian beauty sure fits right in with these Woodstock vibes! Earth. Plaits. Killer brown boots. Brilliant.

vacation starts slow

As of Wednesday, I officially started my Uni break until July 29th! Ah, it's nice. And in that time I intend to write my first play (no biggie) and catch up on reading... my largely stacked libraries of novels, magazines and books -gotta start chipping away at it. And no doubt a cup of coffee will be near, and the Diptyque will burn, burn, burn.
